Psychotherapy

Psychotherapies aim to change maladaptive behaviors, decrease personal distress, and help clients adapt to their environment better.

Different types of therapies are available today, and therapists are becoming increasingly concerned with finding the most appropriate form of therapy for an individual.

Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT)

CBT is a psychotherapeutic treatment that helps patients understand the thoughts and feelings that influence behaviors. It is generally short-term and focuses on helping clients deal with a specific problem. During treatment, people learn how to identify and change destructive or disturbing thought patterns that negatively influence behavior. CBT  has become increasingly popular with both mental health consumers and treatment professionals in recent years. There are several different approaches to CBT  that mental health professionals regularly use. CBT has been used to treat several disorders, including anxiety, phobias, depression, addiction, and various maladaptive behaviors.

Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)

SFT, or brief therapy, focuses on solutions rather than the problem. The approach does not focus on the past but on the present and future. In SFT, therapists help their clients construct a concrete vision of a preferred future for themselves.

Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT)

IPT is time-limited psychotherapy focusing on the interpersonal context and building interpersonal skills.IPT has been proven to be effective in the treatment of depression. It is short-term and usually involves 20 sessions. The first 1-3 sessions of IPT are devoted to assessing and identifying the specific interpersonal issues that will be the focus of the remainder of the therapy. IPT  aims to change the person's interpersonal behavior by fostering adaptation to current interpersonal roles and situations.

Client-Centered Therapy (CCT)

CCT is a non-directive approach to talk therapy. Client-centered therapy aims to provide a safe, caring environment where clients get in closer touch with essential positive elements of themselves that have been hidden or distorted. In CBT, the therapist acts mainly as a guide or a source of support for the client. CCT, or person-centered therapy, allows the client to steer the ship.

Individual Counselling

Individual Counselling helps a person to manage his conflicts in the realms of professional, personal, financial, social, marriage, and family. Scientific therapeutic intervention by a psychologist in challenging areas like loneliness, trust, failure, communication, fear, anger, stress, anxiety, depression, or emotional or behavior disorder helps the individual to lead a meaningful and peaceful life. After completing the counseling and psychotherapy sessions, the candidate can comprehend and modify their cognitive processes, beliefs, emotions, and behaviors, becoming well-functioning individuals considering their unique life situations.

CBT with Children

CBT with Children and their parents has evolved from a closely related set of theories, research findings, beliefs, and practice traditions, resulting in diverse therapeutic techniques and practices. Some interventions emphasize the central role of children’s cognitions in the etiology and maintenance of childhood disorders and thus aim to change cognitions. Behavior modification and parent training are the most widely used behavioral approach.

Family Counseling

Family is an institution of society. Groups of families are the base of society. A society’s quality depends on the existing families, education, profession or economy, religion, customs, culture, etc. Therefore, the therapist focuses on family discord and problems in family counseling.

The therapists meet the family and understand the patterns of interaction within the family. The goal of family counseling is not merely to remove the disputes but to create a new way of living and help them to build better interpersonal relationships within a family.

Pre-marital and Marital Counseling

Pre-marital Counselling helps the client make proper decisions by using their life skills and gives awareness about Indian marriage, society, and the country’s laws based on marriage acts and principles. Ensure knowledge of sex and sexuality and the essential functions of the family. The counselor helps the couple understand their compatibility, beliefs and values, and many other aspects that will help them better understand their partner.

Motivational Therapy

Motivational therapy intends to solve the problems of alcoholics and drug users. Our Teens and youngsters are caught on drugs and fall into addiction and anti-social behavior step by step. Motivational therapy creates awareness among them, motivates them to arrest their craving for drugs, and introduces them to de-addiction treatment and facilities. Youngsters are the reservoir of our national growth and development. Therefore, we aim to keep the teens and youngsters better for themselves, their families, society, and our nation.

Marital Counselling

Marital counseling helps the client cope with the issues of a newly adapted environment. The goal of marital counseling varies from couple to couple.

“ A great marriage is not when the ‘perfect couple’ comes together. It is when an imperfect couple learns o enjoy their differences.” -Dave Meurer
